Description
The expressions on the two faces show a lot--the girl is hopeful but unsure, and the cow is showing the whites of her eyes. Both are youthful beings on trial.
The painting started out as a watercolor; then I bonded the paper to masonite using acrylic medium and added some acrylic highlights and varnish (intensifying the colors and eliminating the need for glass or matting.)
